With the advancement of technology these days, a lot of things has been made convenient for us. Kampar students are well aware of the struggle of driving and cycling out for meals especially during peak hours, worse still during the rainy season or under the scorching sun.

 

But this is where the ‘Dabao’ App comes in handy. This platform was created by Wong Win Tatt, a student of UTAR. The app works simply just like any other app, where it’s available in your Google Play store or Apple app store for free.

 

“Dabao was created to allow Kamparians to get their meals delivered in a convenient way without having to step out from their doorstep. This app also provides a variety of choices for people to choose from. At the same time, I also intend to create part time job opportunities”, said Wong Win Tatt, the founder of this application.

 

Dabao is specially catered towards the people of Kampar and so far, it definitely has been a hit among students. It gives people an option to stay home and order comfortably on days where they do not feel like joining the crowd outside.

 

“The process of creating this app was rather challenging, as we had to take into account many considerations such as the rules and regulations, legal implications, terms and conditions of restaurants and other scenario planning. My brothers and I worked very hard on this, and we are still consistently trying to improve wherever we can,” said Wong Win Tatt.

 

Students can also sign up to be a ‘Dabao’ driver by delivering food while earning some extra pocket money.

 

“I tried the app and my food took a while to arrive, but other than that, I think I have no other complains,” Jia Min, one of the Dabao users mentioned.

 

We hope to see this app develop and improve more in the days to come.
