Community Fair Has Come to Kampar Villagers

The booths of key government services attracted lots of residents for enquiry.

KAMPAR: The Mobile Community Transformation Centre (CTC) program held at the New Town Field on 25th February 2017 (Saturday) has gained supports from Kampar residents.
Many key government services set up booths to provide guidance for residents such as Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDN) and registration as voters.
Rafidah Osman, the executive officer of Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDN) from Ipoh Branch said that this program has brought convenience to the residents in Kampar as various services are provided for them in this activity.
Rajes, 46, a visitor from Kuala Lumpur said, “The booths available in Kampar are lesser compared to in Kuala Lumpur”.
“There were more medical care booths such as blood donation and eyes check-up service as well as various types of food stalls in Kuala Lumpur”, she said.
The residents also had an opportunity to participate in several activities which including lucky draw, sports events and performance.
Phang Chew Hock, media officer of Deputy Minister of Finance said this program was held for the second time for Kampar villagers.
The Mobile CTC program is the activity under the National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) for the purpose of offering basic government services to remote communities in order to improve human health and wellbeing.
