Book Fair Held for 1st Chinese Literature Week 2017 in UTAR To Woo Book Lovers

Institute of Chinese Studies and Chinese Studies Society had worked together to organize 1st Chinese Literature Week 2017 in UTAR which it has attracted many book lovers head over to Dewan Tun Ling Liong Sik for the book fair that held along that week.

The book fair was held from March 25 till March 29 2017 at the foyer of Dewan Tun Ling Liong Sik.

 

The organizer has invited POPULAR, Mentor Publishing, Intelligentsia Bookstore, and Century Bookstore as the major booksellers for this book fair.

​

There was over hundreds of books in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese books showcased in the book fair, the event also offered in a wide selection of stationeries, lifestyle gifts, literacy-related products, and different types of IT gadgets selling at attractive prices in this small exhibition space.

​

The fair was first conceived as a platform to encourage students of all walks of lives to read more, so that it could continue spurring the growth in knowledge and experience.

​

Although this was a small book fair, but it also a major treat for those book lovers as the fair has offered discounts up to 50 per cent on a wide selection of fictions or books, which includes new arrivals and bestsellers stuffs that deal from as low as RM8.

​

Indeed, the book fair has provided an enriching and entertaining experience for book lovers from all walks of lives, while educational catalogues are available at this book fair.

This small book fair has welcomed students from different faculties in UTAR.

There were a wide range of literature books and narrative fictions in the book fair that woo bibliophiles.

Entrance was free to all students and whoever visited the book fair was offered with any kind of educational catalogues.
